Job Title: Retail Sales Associate
Location: Fidalgo Fudge Co. 715 Commercial Ave. Anacortes, WA 98221
Position: Part-Time: 15-25+ hrs/week

We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable Retail Sales Associates to join our growing team!
Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take orders, prepare and serve candies and confections, hand scooped ice cream, espresso beverages, and retail items while being able handle cash and card transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the espresso bar, confection case, bulk section, ice cream station and all retail shelves.
- Stock and replenish inventory as needed, ensuring product availability and freshness.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints with a positive attitude.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.
Qualifications:
- One or more years previous experience in retail or food service is a plus but not required
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-oriented attitude.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and experience handling cash and card transactions.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Passion for all things sweet and a willingness to learn about our products and services.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 lbs. regularly

We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our confection-making team. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will assist with various tasks in the confection making process, helping to ensure that our production process runs smoothly and efficiently. If you have a passion for sweets, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and are eager to learn the art of confections, we’d love to hear from you!
